Role Summary:

As a Skilled Labourer, the position involves pouring concrete into molds to make durable, functional products used for homes and businesses.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the manufacturing of precast concrete products following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Pouring, finishing, and curing concrete according to specifications.
• Operating machinery and equipment such as mixers, molds, and vibrating tools.
• Prepare molds for pouring concrete, including cleaning, oiling, and assembling.
• Assist in the setup and dismantling of molds as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on molds and equipment.
• Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure they meet specifications.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
• Assist in loading and unloading raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Organize and maintain inventory of materials in the production area.
• Perform various manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.

Must Have’s:

• Reliable transportation to and from to work.
• Excellent attendance record.

Preferred:

• Precast experience, blueprint reading, carpentry skills, concrete experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
