Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Chief Compliance Officer.
The Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing compliance management, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining financial integrity within the organization. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring compliance activities, developing policies and procedures, conducting audits, and providing compliance training to staff members. The role requires effective communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure all regulations are met.
Specified tasks will be discussed during a virtual interview.
Qualifications
- Compliance Management and Non Profit Regulatory Compliance
- Knowledge of the Canada Non for Profit Corporations Act, 2020 would be considered an asset
- Analytical Skills and Finance
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in non-profit organizations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
