The Opportunity: Copywriter
As our new Copywriter, you’ll partner with account managers, strategists, designers, and paid-media specialists to develop on-brand, high-impact messaging for a diverse roster of clients. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll own the creation of scroll-stopping social posts, conversion-driving emails, attention-grabbing ad headlines, and persuasive website copy, ensuring every word earns its place in our clients’ growth stories.
Key Responsibilities:
Multi-Channel Copywriting
- Craft compelling copy for social ads (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn), email campaigns, landing pages, blogs, and more
- Develop headlines, taglines, and CTAs that drive clicks, conversions, and engagement
Brand Voice & Messaging
- Collaborate with strategists to define and document each client’s voice, tone, and key messaging pillars
- Ensure all content aligns with client objectives, audience insights, and performance data
Concept Development & Ideation
- Brainstorm with the creative team on campaign concepts, story arcs, and content series
- Provide scriptwriting support for videos, podcasts, and livestream events
SEO & Performance Optimization
- Incorporate SEO best practices to boost organic visibility and click-through rates
- Analyze content performance metrics (open rates, engagement, conversions) and iterate based on learnings
Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and polish all copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and error-free execution
- Maintain an organized library of copy assets, style guides, and approved templates
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, developers, and paid-media teams to ensure copy and visuals are seamlessly integrated
- Support influencer outreach, brand partnerships, and user-generated content initiatives with tailored messaging
What Success Looks Like:
- Every campaign lands on-brand, on-message, and on-time
- Engagement, open rates, and conversion metrics consistently meet or exceed targets
- You’re the go-to wordsmith for concept ideation and last-minute copy tweaks
- Our clients rave about your ability to capture their unique voice and drive real business results
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years of professional copywriting experience in an agency, in-house marketing team, or freelance capacity
- Proven track record writing for DTC/CPG brands, performance-driven campaigns, or high-engagement social media
- Strong grasp of SEO copywriting, email marketing best practices, and performance metrics
- Exceptional attention to detail, with polished grammar and proofreading skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus: Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, basic email-template knowledge, and B2B/B2C experience
