Remote - Claims Service Representative, National Accounts (Alberta Canada)

Role Summary Working with a team of people, you will provide administrative support services in claims creation and demonstrate a superior level of customer service. This role requires the flexibility to be available between the hours of 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST Monday through Friday. Other duties as may be required.

Responsibilities Claims Set Up

  • Claim creation in dedicated claims management system(s) as per account instructions
  • Claim is triaged appropriately and assigned within target timeframe with 95% accuracy
  • Participate on Email and / or Phone Queues
  • Make initial contact

Billings, and payment processing

  • Files billed within specified time frame, as per account instructions
  • Payments issued accurately and as per account instruction

Claims support

  • Handle claims inquiries, including calls from insureds, third party insurers and vendors
  • Provide assistance with data entry, notes, ordering police reports, lien searches and other claims related tasks

Account Management Support

  • Proper handling of correspondence for National Account employees and maintaining a catalogue of electronic devices
  • Provide claim file management support in Claims Management System(s)
  • Completing data integrity tasks and updates
  • Assisting with all other requests as directed from supervisor and National Accounts management team

Required Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in administration, insurance or related fields is considered an asset
  • Experience in an administrative support role, specifically in the insurance industry is considered an asset
  • Experience working within a dynamic team
  • Must have the aptitude and ability to learn new skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with reporting and data management considered an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be legal to work in Canada
