Position Overview:

We are currently hiring an Operator/Labourer with a Class 3 license (with preference given to candidates who also hold an air brake endorsement) to join our team for the remainder of the concrete and asphalt season. This is a hands-on role involving both labour work and truck operation for hauling materials, equipment, and supporting job site needs.

The position will run until the end of the fall season (October/November, weather depending), with opportunity for continued employment through the winter for candidates interested in snow clearing operations and who demonstrate reliability and strong performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 3 trucks (with or without air) for hauling, dumping, or supporting job site logistics
• Assist with placing, spreading, and finishing concrete for driveways, pads, curbs, and other surfaces
• Support asphalt prep, laying, and compaction
• Perform general physical labour (shoveling, lifting, loading/unloading, site cleanup)
• Operate hand tools and light machinery (as experience allows)
• Follow directions from crew leads and supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily goals

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3 drivers license (with or without air)
• Must have reliable means to travel to and from work
• Experience with concrete placing and finishing is required
• Comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding environments
• Experience operating light machinery (skid steers, excavators, etc.) is an asset
• Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player
• Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Steel-toe boots and high-visibility vest required on job sites
