About the role

Safety-Kleen in Brampton, ON is seeking a Sales and Service Representative (DZ licensed) to join their safety conscious team! The SSR will be responsible for both daily waste pickup and delivery services at customer sites, along with executing sales-driven tasks such as upselling, cross-selling and generating new leads for SK products and services. You will drive our mission of sustainability by providing excellent service to our customers while promoting and delivering Safety-Kleen products and services.

  • Driving the Straight Truck to different customer sites - collection of waste in a safe and compliant manner and transportation of waste to a branch.

  • picking up/delivering waste services, making drop offs to our disposal facilities.

  • Upselling products/ additional services, generating new sales leads.

  • Achieve monthly sales targets.

  • Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner.

  • Complete all required documentation and labeling.

  • Convert new sales opportunities.

  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes.

  • Prospect and convert leads to customers.

  • Other duties as required.

  • 3+ years of licensed DZ driving experience - manual transmission required.

  • Experience driving Straight/Box trucks.

  • Vac Truck operating experience is a strong asset.

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience highly preferred.

  • Environmental Services/Hazardous waste experience highly preferred.

  • Tenacious, assertive, strong organizational skills and a hunter mentality.

  • Proven ability to develop a book of business, upsell and cross sell new Lines of Business.

  • Familiarity with CRM programs is a strong asset.
