About the role

The ideal candidate will have strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. This role is part of a pilot team at an early-stage startup focused on building a new approach to sales. Account Executives will work directly with vetted business listings, operating independently with full autonomy. This is a commission-only position suited to individuals who are self-motivated and goal-oriented.

This opportunity is focused on the Food and Beverage industry

, supporting innovative packaged goods companies selling to retailers, grocers, distributors, and specialty stores. While experience in this vertical is preferred, candidates with a strong sales foundation will also be considered for this role and may qualify for future opportunities across multiple industry segments based on experience and performance.

Compensation

  • Commission-only with no cap, no base and no limits.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with customers and prospective buyers
  • Track and report key metrics and activity throughout the sales process
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
  • Maintain a clear understanding of industry trends, competitive offerings and product positioning to inform sales strategy

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development or account management
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry, especially selling to retailers or distributors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently and remotely
