The Role

As our Field Product Manager , you’ll lead from the front. You're our eyes, ears, and voice in the North American market — bridging MATTR’s core product vision with real-world customer needs. You’ll engage directly with clients, validate new use cases, shape product stories, and champion our value propositions in-market.

You’ll work alongside early adopters, partners, and cross-functional teams to help MATTR scale trusted identity infrastructure across the globe.

What You'll Do

Represent MATTR in the Field

• Be the face of MATTR’s products at client meetings, trade events, and speaking opportunities.
• Translate complex tech into compelling, clear value stories.
• Build deep trust with customers and partners.

Shape & Validate Customer Value

• Prepare light-touch demos, proof-of-concepts, and prototypes tailored to real use cases.
• Engage users to refine value propositions and gather insights.
• Support solution design, technical validation, and proposal development.

Bridge Market Insight to Product Teams

• Convert customer needs into actionable product inputs.
• Champion the user voice in roadmap conversations.
• Align globally with core teams in New Zealand.

Support Delivery & Success

• Guide customers through successful implementations.
• Provide technical expertise and best-practice guidance.
• Develop onboarding materials and knowledge-sharing content.

What You Bring

Must Have:

• A background in Technical Product Management , Solution Architecture or Product Engineering .
• Strong experience in SaaS , B2B , or platform product environments.
• Fluent in APIs, architecture patterns, and identity protocols.
• Confident presenting prototypes and managing stakeholder expectations, preparing customer assets that simplify and showcase product capabilities.
• A collaborative, low-ego mindset and the ability to work across time zones and cultures.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with VCs, DIDs, OAuth2, OpenID Connect , and other digital trust technologies.
• Experience in startups or scale-ups with outbound product or go-to-market roles.
• Comfort in public cloud, SaaS, or customer-hosted environments.
• Hands-on with tools like Jira, Postman, Swagger, GitHub, VS Code , and visual modeling tools.
