Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group, Manitoba's Premier Specialized Recruitment Firm has been engaged by our client, currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading a team of junior accountants. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in financial reporting and monthly accounting.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Accounting Manager will include:

Prepare & review financial and management reporting.

Produce variance analysis reports.
-
Develop and improve upon financial performance monitoring.
-
Provide recommendations to department leaders and executive to improve financial performance execution on key areas.
-
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
-
A professional accounting designation CPA (CA, CGA, CMA)
-
1 - 3 years of accounting experience including ad hoc reporting and forecasting.
-
Advanced software skills including MS Excel.
-
Proven interpersonal and communication skills to develop internal relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
-
A background from public practice would be an asset
Rewards:

Base salary $85,000 - 95,000 DOQ
