Your Main Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day posting of financial transactions (accounts receivable/accounts payable)
  • Assist with monthly invoicing, including e-mailing monthly invoices to clients
  • Responsible for collections of accounts receivable along with other members of the accounting team
  • Provide timely responses to client requests pertaining to invoicing and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with directors, senior management, project managers and the accounting team on reporting, contract details, and billing related matters
  • Ensure proper recordkeeping of proposals, contracts, POs, change orders, etc.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as assigned

Your Profile

  • College or University diploma or equivalent specific experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience and demonstrated success in an accounting role
  • Understanding of accounting concepts and principles
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision as well as work well in a team environment
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients, vendors and employees throughout the organization
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with industry-specific ERP software
  • Agile and adaptable to change
  • French language skills considered an asset
  • Oracle experience considered an asset
