ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Analyst will be primarily responsible for cash management activities related to private and public investment operations and for producing accurate information and projections within the required timeframes for all users.
- Responsible for coordinating internal and external fund transfer activities for all private and public market asset classes
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing daily cash flow projections and instructions related to fund transfers
- Responsible for producing currency hedging instructions and various related reports
- Responsible for reconciling cash flow projections with actual transactions
- Serve as a key point of contact for team stakeholders regarding related activities under his or her responsibility
- Ensure to perform or coordinate timely follow-ups of requests from various stakeholders
- Ensure that information and instructions comply with legal structures, deadlines, and related controls
- Responsible for maintaining reference data and configurations of the cash management system
- Responsible for developing and generating reports required for fund transfer management, using various systems
- Develop work methods and controls that will cover operational risks
- Be proactive and resourceful when analyzing complex or unusual matters
- Responsible for managing many bank accounts belonging to over a hundred subsidiaries in multiple currencies and countries
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
- A master's degree or a professional designation (CPA or CTP), an asset
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in cash management, an asset
- Experience in fund transfers, an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to learn new systems and excellent knowledge of Excel
- Autonomy and proactivity
- Team spirit and ability to work in a high-performance culture
- Ability to manage constantly changing priorities
- Motivation, flexibility and adaptability
- Strong skills in verbal and written communication and high level of professionalism
- Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
