Summary of Duties
As audiologist your duties will include: routine diagnostic, hearing aid evaluations, aural rehabilitation, evoked potential audiometry and vestibular testing in primarily an adult population. This position will include some involvement in teaching of otolaryngology residents and graduate audiology or speech pathology students. Other duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills
- Master’s Degree in Audiology and Registration with CASLPO required
- Minimum 3 years clinical audiology experience required
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills essential
- Commitment to integrating person-centred care with interprofessional practice
- Proven ability to operate effectively as a team member with minimum direction
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Individual must be detailed oriented and accurate in the performance of their work
- Knowledge of the Oscar documentation system will be an asset
- Vestibular testing experience will be an asset
- Proficient with windows operating systems
- Interest and experience in practice based research preferred
