Seasonal Water Truck Driver, Class 3A
About the role
Job Description Cavendish Farms is looking for Seasonal Water Truck Driver for a period of approximately 20 weeks in New Annan, PE. The expected start date is ASAP, end date is at the end of October.
Wages- $22/hr - $24/hr depending on your experience.
All routes travelled are within the Island area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate water truck, delivering water and pesticide to the fields to support the spraying operations.
- Understand and comply with all provincial road rules.
- Perform pre-trip checks and documentation, requesting maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Effectively communicate with coworkers and management to ensure safety and the ability to plan work around deliveries.
- Represent company in a professional manner.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority.
- Must have valid class 3A with Air Brake endorsement.
- Availability and willingness to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of Central PEI area is an asset.
- Pesticide applicators or loader mixer license is an asset.
