About the role

Job Description Cavendish Farms is looking for Seasonal Water Truck Driver for a period of approximately 20 weeks in New Annan, PE. The expected start date is ASAP, end date is at the end of October.

Wages- $22/hr - $24/hr depending on your experience.

All routes travelled are within the Island area.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate water truck, delivering water and pesticide to the fields to support the spraying operations.
  • Understand and comply with all provincial road rules.
  • Perform pre-trip checks and documentation, requesting maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with coworkers and management to ensure safety and the ability to plan work around deliveries.
  • Represent company in a professional manner.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority.
  • Must have valid class 3A with Air Brake endorsement.
  • Availability and willingness to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of Central PEI area is an asset.
  • Pesticide applicators or loader mixer license is an asset.
