Schedule: Compressed Work Week (9-hour dayshifts, every other Friday off)
YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Red Seal Millwright will primarily be responsible for a range of troubleshooting and repairs to preventative maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate will work within a team of other trades people to execute work across the plant through various planned outages.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments);
- Complete documentation of inspections and Precision Installation;
- Follow company policies for safety and maintenance;
- Operate hoisting / lifting equipment complete documentation;
- Troubleshoot machinery problems that are impacting production and take action;
- Maintain a clean and orderly work place.
YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Safety focused;
- Work well in team and possess a friendly and positive demeanor;
- Self-directed and works with minimal supervision;
- Ability to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a variety of assignments with conflicting priorities and deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent judgment and willingness to learn;
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands;
- Detail oriented.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright Certification;
- 3-5 years of experience working in an industrial work environment;
- Experience using computers, hand-held monitors, and SAP;
- Level 1 Vibration Analysis training would be considered an asset;
- Previous experience in condition monitoring would be an asset;
- Possessing dual ticket qualifications is considered an asset.
