Your mission:
Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, the Electrical Engineer will be a key player in overall plant asset management and reliability supporting the safe production of pulp.
- Electrical engineering for capital and maintenance projects
- Contribute to asset life cycle planning and continual maintenance
- Maintain plant standards for electrical assets
- All aspects of E&I change management workorder and project execution, planning, design, scoping, construction supervision, commissioning, and project completion
Your profile:
- Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience in an industrial environment with VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, DCS
- Experience with various electrical systems (600V-13.8kV)
- 5-10 years’ experience in an operating plant environment – Pulp Mill experience preferred
- Demonstrated successful execution of E&I Projects including design, specification, contracting, install, commissioning, and operations/maintenance turnover
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with all levels of the organization
- Problem-solving and technical skills

- Duration: 1-year contract with potential for extension
