The RGA Co-Op/Internship Program is committed to providing students with meaningful work and a chance to gain a wide knowledge of the insurance industry and to network with fellow interns and full-time associates. Job Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of premium reset exercises using Excel and/or GGY AXIS
- Preparation of calculation, report and analysis for day-to-day inforce monitoring
- Process automation and documentation enhancement for inforce and risk management processes using Excel and/or Python
- Support data extract review for Admin system transition with actuarial knowledge
- Support experience analysis on longevity business and prepare reports for valuation
Required Skills
- Enrolled at the University level and pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in Actuarial Science
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts at a level commensurate with applicant's educational experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
- Experience using GGY AXIS and/or Prophet
- Programming experience in VBA and/or Python
- Passed at least one SOA exam
