About the Role:
Reporting
The Avionics Technician, Instrument Shop reports directly to the Avionics Shop Manager.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize strong electronics knowledge and mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair avionics instruments.
- Operate company electronics test equipment to troubleshoot and analyze electronic components.
- Accurately complete work reports and customer documentation using the Quantum system.
- Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment to support fellow technicians and overall shop goals.
- Demonstrate initiative and commitment to continuous improvement through on-the-job learning and self-directed study of technical manuals.
- Actively participate in company-provided training programs, including Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Human Factors.
- Other shop duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Formal Electronics training from a Technical Institute or University.
- Experience or familiarity with troubleshooting electronic test equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related field, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electronic systems.
- Aviation experience is considered an asset.
