About the role
Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. is looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineering Professional(s) with at least 5 years of applicable experience to join our Power and Transportation group in Vancouver. This position offers applicants the opportunity to apply and expand their knowledge within the Transportation group on Bridge, Marine, and Transit structures, as well as a variety of heavy industrial projects. You will be a part of a rapidly growing team that strives to ensure both employee and client satisfaction through successful implementation of our clients’ projects.

Apply your knowledge to challenging structural and civil engineering projects, from conceptual through detailed design, to construction monitoring and project completion;
Work on a wide range of interesting projects, typically involving Bridge, Marine and Transit structures;

Carry out site investigations and coordinate projects in construction; and
Travel within British Columbia, Canada, and occasionally International.

Mandatory Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering;
Minimum of 5 years related experience in structural design (bridges, marine, and/or heavy industrial); and
Registration as Professional Engineer in British Columbia, or the ability to register.
Additional experience is an asset:
Proficiency in structural analysis software;
Knowledge of construction methods and materials;
Ability to prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications;
Experience with project coordination;
Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations related to construction projects; and
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $125,000 per year. Salary is based on your experience, education, and skill level.
