Summary
The Assembly Operator is responsible to inspect, assemble and package a product that we are proud to offer our customer. This position will assist in sorting for quality. Supporting other machine operators, assemblers, other workers when necessary based on Flex-N-Gate’s policies and procedures.
We have opportunities on both our afternoon shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday) and our midnight shift (Sunday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, Monday - Thursday 11:30 pm - 6:30 am)
Job Duties
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
- Check and weigh materials and products
- Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products according to Flex-N-Gate policies and procedures
- Assist other machine operators, assemblers, and other workers when required
- Participate in Flex-N-Gate's 5S program and ensure cleanliness throughout the plant
- Adhere to all safety requirements within the plant including wearing appropriate PPE at all times
- Other duties as assigned
