This position is a part of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA).

This position has an end date of June 30, 2026.

Location - This role is in-person at North Campus, Edmonton.

Working for the Parking Services

Parking Services provides traffic management services to the campus community. This position is being posted in order to fill a complement of casual staff that helps manage traffic during events. Hours of work are mostly evenings and weekends, but some daytime shifts are also possible.

Position Summary

This position is part of a crew that provides traffic management and payment collection when events are going on. Shifts are posted as events are announced, and staff sign up for the shifts they are able to take.

Duties

  • Traffic management to ensure traffic is flowing smoothly and safely through the parking structures.
  • Collection of payments at Jubilee kiosks may be part of the work required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school-level education.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English to answer questions and guide patrons.
  • Work in inclement weather as the position requires attendants to be outside in all seasons, guiding traffic through an area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience is an asset.
  • Previous cashier experience is an asset.
  • Previous exposure to outside work is an asset.
