About the role
Fix Auto Vernon is seeking a results-driven and experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our collision repair shop. This is a hands-on management role where you will focus not only on productivity, quality repairs, and outstanding customer service, but also on writing estimates. Candidates can expect to earn between $100,000 and $180,000 annually based on salary and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operations of the body shop, including staff supervision, scheduling, workflow, and ensuring all targets are met
- Ensure high-quality collision repair and refinishing work is completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, suppliers, and customers, including resolving issues as they may arise.
- Monitor KPIs including cycle time, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Lead, manage and support our employees to hold them accountable to achieving productivity goals, delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines, safety and company policies
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the collision repair industry, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of repair processes and insurance procedures. A proven track record of working with ICBC is a bonus.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- I-CAR certification preferred
