About The Role On-site I Full-time Using standard procedures, the laboratory analyst performs a variety of mineral separation tests as required for each test program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting laboratory preparatory work including weighing and solution preparation;
- Using established procedures for chemical/instrumental analysis;
- Ensuring analytical quality of analysis and timely reporting of analysis;
- Using Microsoft Excel to create reports and evaluate data;
- Performing day-to-day routine care of equipment;
- Maintaining a clean work environment;
- Observing established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies;
- Other duties as assigned.
About You
- Analytical and mechanical skills;
- Detail oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality;
- Organized, highly motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team;
- Ability to effectively handle a high volume of work and time critical issues;
- English communication skills (written and verbal);
- Basic MS Office skills, specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Required Qualifications
- Recognized degree or technical diploma in Chemistry or Sciences required;
- Laboratory experience in a metallurgical, analytical chemistry or related field is preferred.
Physical Demands
- Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks;
- Able to lift filled 20 litre containers (25 kg);
- Wear issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves etc., when required;
- Ability to stand for a full shift;
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.

- An estimated hourly pay of $24.25 at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.

About Analytical Solutions (Part of ALS Limited)
Analytical Solutions started as an application and support laboratory in the year 1997 for Dionex distributor in India Since 2003, it was introduced as a Contract Testing Laboratory that conforms to cGMP requirements. Since then, the primary focus was to meet the critical outsourcing requirements of pharma industry in field of analytical research and development. The Laboratory is ISO 9001: 2008 certified, accredited for ISO 17025: 2005 & conforms to GLP requirements. It has been audited and accepted by US-FDA through their audits in the years 2008, 2010, 2012 & 2015, with these accreditations all our customers have built in confidence on the quality of data generated by us.
