Summary
MUJI CANADA LIMITED is actively seeking a Full Time Stock Associate to join our MUJI Markville location. This is a multi- faceted role where you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of functions. If your experience, education and/or skill set match our needs, we want to hear from you!
The primary responsibility of the Stock Associate is to manage, organize, and maintain the stockroom and take responsibility of the delivery process. Staff must be proactive and excel in a multi-tasking environment which is constantly changing. Staff should be eager to learn as MUJI carries over 7000 products. Ideal Stock Associates will be well versed in MUJI's philosophy and possess a love for its products. Staff are sometimes required to lift and transport heavy items. Minimal computer knowledge is necessary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the stockroom
- Lead and motivate team to maintain the stockroom, as well as help drive sales
- Train staff in stockroom and store policies and procedures
- Quickly resolve and/or communicate any issues or problems with management to find appropriate resolution
- Reporting stockroom condition such as low/missing/over inventory to supervisor
- Ability to analyze selling power for specific items and make appropriate stockroom decisions
- Ability to lift more than 20lbs
- Take initiative
- Flexible
- Excels in a Team environment
- Opening and closing the store
- Balancing cash register
- Processing merchandise returns at POS
- Organizing the stockroom to maximize efficiency
- Managing the merchandise delivery process
