The position

As a member of the Group Finance Team, you will work closely with local and regional finance team of all subsidiaries.

Your tasks

In a fast-growing environment, with several mergers and acquisitions each year, and on the basis of the reporting packages provided by the local finance managers, you will be responsible for consolidating the Group's monthly reporting (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) as well as the statutory annual version.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the production of the Group's monthly reporting
  • Ensuring the application of Group accounting rules (IFRS).
  • Providing support to subsidiary finance managers on consolidation issues and on the use of the Group tool (EPM from Amelkis)
  • Checking inter-company flows and balances
  • Ensuring that the Group budget is produced reliably
  • Implementing new consolidated reports (new reports in Opera or ad hoc reports in Power BI: monitoring of business units, working cap analyses, customization of cash-flow reports, etc.)
  • Reporting on consolidated bank loans and interest-rate hedging instruments
  • Drawing up the Group's annual consolidated accounts and financial report
  • Participating in the implementation of cash management

Profile

  • Training and experience

With a higher education qualification (University, Business School), you will have a first successful experience in accounting/consolidation in an international group or a large audit firm.

You have a sound knowledge of consolidation rules and IFRS standards.

  • Skills and competences

Autonomous and rigorous, you know how to work to tight deadlines and enjoy working with figures and data in Excel.

As a strong proponent of continuous improvement, you communicate easily and are business-minded. You have a good grasp of new tools and can suggest improvements.

The job involves occasional travel worldwide.

Experience :

  • At least 2 years of experience in financial consolidation in an accounting firm

Willingness to travel:

  • 1 or 2 times a year (required)
