Generalist, Marketing - Long Term Contract
About the role
Job Description This is a 12-18 month contract position Responsibilities :
- Support the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels.
- Create resources that support marketing requirements to develop business opportunities, support selling strategies and prospective efforts.
- Develop compelling content for our intranet, social media, website and advertising campaigns, including video, photography, and written content.
- Post content using Drupal & WordPress (CMS).
- Manage content calendars and suggest content ideas.
- Supervise and grow social media presence across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and support business needs.
- Work together with external vendors to finalize content, including designers and translators.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and effectiveness for a wide variety of content.
- Provide administrative support as needed. This may include processing invoices, ordering office supplies and helping co-ordinate events.
Education & Certifications :
- Recent graduate opportunity with a background in Marketing or Communications, preferably with some experience in a business-to-business environment.
- A University or College degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
Qualifications :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Google Search and Display experience – targeting conversions.
- Experience using content management systems (back end website) to post and schedule content.
- Experience creating compelling content for a variety of platforms, including social media and websites.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills – must be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
- Effective time management skills – must be able to follow through on project requirements and meet deadlines.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop digital marketing campaigns and analyze their effectiveness using Google
- Analytics and CRM systems.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
