Woodingford Lodge is recruiting for a Housekeeping Laundry Aide

LOCATIONS: Woodingford Lodge: Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg (All 3 sites)
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Part-Time (minimum 24-32 hours biweekly)
UNION AFFLIATION: UNIFOR
WAGE RANGE: $30.19 per hour to start (this hourly rate includes 14% in lieu of benefits)

WHAT WE OFFER:
- Shift premiums (for afternoons, nights, and weekends) + scheduled wage progression
- Paid breaks including lunch during an 8-hour shift
- Majority of shifts are 8 hours
- Unlimited shift switches
- Schedule provided 6 weeks in advance through electronic scheduling software

- Uniform allowance of $200/year

MAIN DUTIES:
Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Environmental Services: Cleans bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and social and service areas on a routine basis, using a variety of cleaning methods and equipment. Sorts, washes, dries, and identifies all linen and resident clothing. Performs all duties in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and value statements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Grade 10 education
- Ability to understand both written and oral instructions.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to travel to all 3 locations
