About the role
Description:
- a) Assist in grading assignments;
- b) proctoring final exam;
- c) invigilate tests and exams as required;
- d) holds tutorials and office hours;
- e) other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree with a strong academic background in Accounting.
- Familiarity with the course materials and supporting educational concepts is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous SIA experience and/or applicable applied industry experience is preferred.
- Completion of or in progress of completing a CPA designation would be an asset.
Class Schedule:
- Courses may be online or in person depending on circumstances, so candidates must be available and comfortable with both.
Sessional date of appointment:
- September 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025
Salary:
- The minimum hourly rate shall be:
- Apr 14, 2025 $ 53.31 plus 4% vacation pay
- Sep 1, 2025 $ 54.27 plus 4% vacation pay
- Jan 1, 2026 $ 54.27 plus 4% vacation pay
- Sep 1, 2026 $ 55.25 plus 4% vacation pay
