About the role
Our client is a developer of an artificial intelligence-based platform intended to streamline the customer relationship management process. They are a Series A company with over $27M in funds raised to date (long runway!) and founded by a serial entrepreneur who has a history of successfully exiting businesses.
They are looking for their first Head of Marketing to build out their inbound marketing machine, and to continue to lead the charge on the overall marketing function companywide.
The Role:
- There will be a strong emphasis on branding, messaging, and positioning.
- This role will oversee 3 marketing associates (1 senior demand generation manager, 1 senior product marketing manager and 1 content marketing manager) > as the business continues to grow, you will then hire additional team members.
- Define product messaging > help craft messaging and that cuts through the noisy AI marketing and lands with the target audience.
- Increase inbound traffic > increase brand awareness and converting prospects into customers.
About You:

Located in the GTA (2-3 days in office located downtown)

MUST
have proven experience working in a B2B SaaS startup environment and have demonstrable results getting in on the ground floor and building marketing teams (with a company that continues to be successful and/or successfully exited)

Strong Demand Generation experience

Love getting your hands dirty - you light up at the idea of being in the trenches with your team

Have a strong understanding of the demand planning process and are confident building and managing a forecast on a standardized cadence

Identify as a “Revenue Centric” marketing leader and are excited to partner with Sales.
