Job Description
Event Servers are key players in executing seamless, memorable events. From setup to breakdown, they ensure every guest interaction is polished, timely, and aligned with service standards. They deliver food and beverages efficiently, maintain a clean and organized event space, and are knowledgeable about the menu to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations.
The Day to Day:

Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring the venue is guest-ready
-
Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally throughout the event
-
Maintain cleanliness by clearing plates, glassware, and cutlery throughout service
-
Provide an exceptional guest experience by following service standards and steps of service
-
Be knowledgeable about all menu items to answer questions and make recommendations
-
Monitor food presentation and quality throughout the event
-
Ensure accuracy when entering orders into the POS system (if applicable)
-
Maintain a clean and organized section, free of clutter at all times
-
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
-
Stay aware of guest allergies or special requests and communicate them clearly to the team
-
Complete all opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and safely
-
Support the team and venue with other tasks as required
Qualifications
-
Minimum 1 year of serving or banquet experience (preferred)
-
Smart Serve certification (required)
-
Exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness
-
Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-
Confident verbal and written communication abilities
-
Professional presence with a sense of urgency and momentum
-
Flexible availability, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
