About the Job
In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with the Director of Business Development and the Sales team, supporting customer relations and ensuring smooth sales operations. Your key tasks will involve handling customer inquiries, preparing reports, managing quotes, and providing administrative support to help the Sales department run efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with the Sales Analyst to adjust prices based on cost changes
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Engineering Team and prepare customer letters to be disseminated to the sales team or the customers.
- Prepare reports including customer reports, sales variance reports, sales revenue and margin reports for sales team commissions and bonuses.
- Work with account managers to gather information, prepare customer quotes, and follow up with signed agreements.
- Work with sales and operations to help reconcile any invoice, AR, or customer related issues.
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager to resolve any customer complaints efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure that their concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.
- Help the Director of Business Development and Engineering Team and the sales team in coordinating and preparing Request for Quotation or Request for Proposal to ensure timely submission.
Here’s What You Need
- A College or University degree (or equivalent experience in a related field).
- A valid G Registration Ontario Driver’s Licence in good standing is required.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail: Ability to ensure work is thorough, accurate, and well-organized.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear and effective information sharing.
