Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages promptly.
- Process reservations and cancellations using hotel management software.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the guest experience.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or related fields is desirable.
