We're looking to hire a strong profile with an Aerospace Industry Background.
Role Overview:
The Operational Planner will oversee the strategic transfer of fuselage assembly operations from different facilities across Canada , ensuring seamless transition, minimal disruption, and optimized production efficiency .
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a structured transition plan for fuselage System assemblies relocation.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with Operations and logistics Team, ensuring logistics, material flow, and stakeholders alignment for uninterrupted movement & installation.
- Facility Readiness & Infrastructure Setup: Collaborate with engineering & operations teams to prepare new plant for fuselage assembly operations.
- Regulatory & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to aviation industry standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures .
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, logistics, and leadership teams to align transfer objectives.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential operational risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
- Process Optimization: Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency post-transfer.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 8+ years of aerospace manufacturing industry and working experience in operations or planning is must, .
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with fuselage assembly processes, tooling, and production workflows or Aero specific fabrications / Assembly manufacturing.
- Project Management: Strong expertise in transition planning, scheduling, execution and able to negotiate with multiple stakeholders ensuring the project success.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of aviation industry standards (AS9100, Transport Canada, FAA) .
- Communication & Leadership: Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive operational success.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to identify challenges and implement effective solutions .
The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
