The Associate Director, Fund Accounting is responsible for overseeing the fund accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information. This role involves managing a team of accountants and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fund accounting team.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all funds.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation is an asset.
- Experience with financial software and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
