Expected Salary Range: $72,633.00 - $90,792.00 - $113,490.00
Our typical hiring range will be +/- 5% of the midpoint shown above

Job Summary:
The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for informing and executing on retail trade marketing strategies that drive business results and profitability. Core responsibilities focus on facilitating the end-to-end development and execution of creative assets for programs, initiatives and offers within strategic partners within Lottery in collaboration with Enterprise Marketing. This role is also responsible for executing the strategy and managing the delivery of marketing content and promotions on Lotto Express.
Accountabilities:

In conjunction with Key Accounts, drives the implementation of the Lottery trade marketing strategy in collaboration with all Omni Marketing, Lottery Product, Field Sales, and Operational Teams.

Accountable for the end-to-end development of promotional creative assets, operational logistical plans, and in trade activation for Key Account initiatives. Liaison between creative resources (internally & externally), Operations, Channel and Strategic Relationships Team.

Coordinates the execution of the Lotto Express retail strategy in collaboration with Lottery Op and field sales teams.

Collects, manages, and maintains Key Account partner promotional capabilities such as partner promotional calendars, creative assets, creative spec sheets etc. Disseminates key information to internal stakeholders.

Identifies opportunities to improve process within Lottery Ops to ensure smooth planning and execution of all retail promotions. Provides key insights and recommendations to the Manager, Trade Marketing regarding opportunities to evolve tactics, improve results, or generate incremental revenues.

Proactively stays on top of retail industry trends. Shares best practices and insights across the business.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
-
A university degree or diploma in a related discipline such as business or marketing;
-
3-5 years recent, related experience in consumer trade marketing is an asset
-
Experience in marketing, advertising, and branding, with a strong emphasis in the area of retail marketing;
-
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Technical Requirements
-
Sound knowledge of principles, concepts, practices in the areas of retail marketing;
-
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze business situations and develop solutions;
-
Proven experience in delivering consumer-centric marketing;
-
Demonstrated ability to be highly creative and innovative;
-
Proven experience in agency management (advertising, media, experiential, merchandizing) is an asset;

Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task with close attention to detail;
-
Ability to be flexible and work around dynamic schedules with ease;
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative in nature;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
-
Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Adobe, web-based programs);
-
Understanding of B.C. gaming industry is an asset.
