A growing international investment firm is seeking a Senior Fund Financial Analyst to join its finance team in the GTA. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a developing finance function within a newly established office and is ideal for professionals with strong foundational experience in finance or audit who are looking to step into a broader, high-impact position.
About the Role
This position reports to a senior finance leader and plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of a global investment structure. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to manage fund-level reporting, ensure compliance with internal processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance team as the office scales.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review fund financials, management reports, and investor deliverables
- Partner with internal teams across accounting, investment, and operations functions
- Assist in process optimization and contribute to the development of internal controls
- Support audits and respond to internal and external financial inquiries
- Work within a bilingual (French/English) environment, supporting both local and international teams
- Participate in special projects and system/process implementations as the office grows
What You Bring
- Post-secondary degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 1–3 years of professional experience in finance or audit (Big Four audit experience is an asset)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with financial data
- Bilingual fluency in French and English
- CPA designation is preferred but not required (support offered for candidates working toward it)
- Proactive communicator with a collaborative and adaptable approach
