About the role

Who We Are:

CarePartners is one of Ontario’s largest, most reputable and well-established accredited home health care providers, providing nursing, personal support, home support, palliative, therapy and rehabilitation support services for patients of all ages across urban and rural Ontario. We visit approximately 80,000 patients each year in homes, schools, clinics, workplaces and retirement homes, spread across 14 branches and 21 nursing clinics.

We continuously innovate to meet patient needs with specialized (award-winning) care programs and technology, including virtual care and AI.

Overview:

CarePartners is adding to our team and we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to ensure effective customer service and communication skills. The Administrative Assistant is an integral part of our North Simcoe Muskoka Division Barrie Office daily operations.

We have immediate Temporary Full-Time in the Barrie office!

Hours of work are a schedule of defined shifts. Monday- Friday typically 8:30am- 4:30pm

What The Role Involves:

  • Act as the “face of the company” and greet customers and patients in a professional manner

  • Conduct administrative duties for the team such as booking appointments, filing paperwork, and organizing office supplies

  • Answer phone calls and inquiries and direct as appropriate

  • Follow up with general voicemail and email

  • Monitor office security, swipe cards and office supplies

  • Coordinate office activities and troubleshoot administrative issues or challenges

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • 1-2 years of office or customer service experience
  • Strong proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft office, with proven skills in Word and Excel
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multitasking skills and organizational skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn, grow and be an integral member of the team
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the health care field an asset
  • Clear Background Check
