What You Will Do Afternoon Housekeeping Attendants (1 pm to 9:30 pm) are responsible for creating an iconic guest experience (guests and their fur babies) with helpful and welcoming service while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned guest suites working within a terrific team environment or individually.
Responsibilities include:
- Desire to seek out and destroy all dirt and dust from all areas of the guest rooms including full kitchens, balconies, bathrooms, leaving it sanitized and sparkling.
- Maintaining a high level of guest service and ensure rapid and professional response to all guest requests.
- Making beds, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Working on own or in teams as required.
- Participating in deep cleaning of hotel guest rooms.
- Assisting with cleaning of other hotel common areas as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous professional cleaning or hotel housekeeping experience is an asset but not required as we have terrific trainers.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent observational skills.
- The ability to adhere to safe work practices.
- Able bodied and capable of lifting, carrying and pushing heavy loads
- A love for a daily routine and staying active
- Friendly and enthusiastic manner, great sense of cooperation and teamwork.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
