About the role
Business Development Representative - Software Solutions
Location : Laval (Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site)
Type : Full-time
Salary : 75 000-90 000$ + 30% bonus
A well-established company in the electrical and industrial solutions space is hiring a Business Development Representative to help grow their software offering.
You’ll focus on identifying, qualifying, and handing off high-value leads to the sales team. This role is ideal for someone with SaaS experience , strong outbound skills, and the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
Responsibilities
- Execute outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate and qualify leads
- Engage with decision-makers and influencers to understand business needs
- Nurture prospects using automated workflows (Dynamics 365)
- Conduct targeted account research and gather insights using internal tools
- Document all interactions and progress in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective lead routing and follow-up
- Contribute insights on trends, opportunities, and potential market expansion
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software sales (SaaS preferred)
- At least 1 year working with or selling Information Solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (preferably Dynamics 365)
- Familiarity with automated marketing or lead nurturing tools
- Bilingual French & English (spoken and written)
Bonus
- Background in computer programming , engineering , or a related technical field
- Post-secondary education in sales, marketing , or a business-related program
