Mike Fair Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd. is a family-owned automotive dealership with over 35 years serving the Smiths Falls, Perth, and surrounding areas. We are growing and expanding our operations with a brand-new, state of the art dealership in Perth, Ontario. Brand new equipment, air-conditioned shop and extensive, hands-on training provided. This is an exciting time for career minded self-starters to join our team!
Training (estimated to begin in August) will take place in Smiths Falls and in Perth prior to dealership opening. Reliable transportation during this period is required.

Expected annual compensation for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 (including salary, bonus and commission pay).
Overview: As an Automotive Sales Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Sales Consultants, focusing on achieving sales goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive and collegial team work environment.
Main duties include:
- Lead and supervise sales staff, including motivating and coaching sales consultants, setting sales targets, and monitoring performance.
- Participate in the identification and selection of qualified sales consultants to join the team.
- Provide ongoing training and development to improve sales skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including marketing campaigns and promotions, to drive sales.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a positive customer experience, by addressing any concerns.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
- Work with other departments, such as finance, parts, service and inventory to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
- Understand and comply with all relevant regulations and laws related to vehicle sales.
Requirements:
- A good understanding of the automotive industry, including vehicle models, financing options, and market trends.
- Strong relationship building skills, in order to build trust with sales staff and customers.
- Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve goals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven experience in sales, with the ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve sales performance.
- Strong organization and planning skills to manage the sales process and delegate tasks effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and be flexible in approach.
- OMVIC Sales License in good standing
