Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager – West (Ecosystem Lead) to join our Canada Immunology Business Unit . This individual will lead the West region and ideally be based out of Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB About The Role This role will demonstrate excellence in core competencies to coach and develop Healthcare Partners (Territory Managers) to engage and build relationships with HCPs, other clinical decision makers and office support staff to create the best experiences for patients living with Immunology diseases. They will support a network of key stakeholders in a local ecosystem involved in the patient journey to ensure alignment and consistency in patient care through defined strategic priorities.
Who You’ll Work With In partnership with internal stakeholders this role identifies, develops, and executes patient value solutions of common strategic interest. You will be part of the Immunology PVU Team and collaborate with the Head of Immunology, Marketing Solutions Leads, Ecosystem Leads, Head of Medical, Field Medical Lead, MSLs, Patient Experience Lead, Education & Stakeholder Development Lead, Market Access, External HCPs, KOLs, AHPs, nurses, pharmacists, Ecosystem stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure that ecosystem is working to a strategy based on key insights into the unique characteristics of market, designed to maximize patient value creation and advance brands objectives
- Oversees cross-functional collaboration, and coordinates build out of tactical details of strategic plans to maximize synergies and eliminate redundancies
- Ensure customer-facing team members have training and resources to execute effectively, and adjust where necessary to reflect changing market
- Lead from the front to ensure a culture of compliance in all initiatives and activities within the assigned territories
- Provides input and support decision making around resource allocation across channels
- In partnerships with networks identify, develop and execute patient value solutions of common interest to address identified care gaps
- Attend to staffing requirements including recruiting, training, and development of HCP Partners (Territory Managers)
- Analyze insights including business statistics, data and customer feedback to provide an information framework for the development and implementation of territory business plans
- Attain sales and patient Rx objectives for assigned products on a quarterly and yearly basis
- Establish productive business relationships with key local, regional and National KOLs within the geographical coverage area
- Coach HCP Partners (Territory Managers) on utilizing an effective selling approach utilizing all intelligence and resources available (OCCP, VISU Performance Dashboard)
- Participate in conventions and customer meetings relating to the therapeutic areas
- Understands healthcare-related trends & barriers to optimized care, and leverages them to engage networks/systems to improve outcomes for patients
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills
- Bachelors’ degree in health sciences, business or related field is required and master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of healthcare related experience (2+ sales, 2+ sales management, 2+ marketing, market access or field medical experience (can include 3+ years in key account management).
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary and/or matrixed teams.
- Market expertise in biologics specialty; Dermatology and/or Rheaumatology disease area.
- Proven strength in business planning, tactical plan development and execution.
- Established ability to interact with high level key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Capacity to analyze complex technical data and to develop sound business plans.
