What you will do:
The Senior National Distribution Coordinator is responsible for the flow of goods in our network of theatres, LBE venues and warehouses by coordinating and providing distribution requirements for vendors and distribution partners. In addition, this position will effectively maintain the eProcurement system with regular pricing, code and product information.
Note: This is a hybrid role, based out of the Cineplex Head Office at 1303 Yonge St, Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day flow of goods – Reporting on and resolving product shortages. Arrange for substitutions where necessary
- Resolve Theatre/ Venue Distribution issues including quality , quantity or damages
- Prepare reports and provide analysis on inventory position, dead stock, Item redundancy and distribution costs
- System and Invoice maintenance –Maintain eProcurement system on a regular basis including product cost changes, new listings, product de-listings and US exchange rate fluctuation
- Prepare Price change report for Quarterly Audit review
- Resolve matching issues or credits
- Accurately code invoices for processing
- Liaise between vendors and distributor – On boarding of new vendors, coordinate credit and listing arrangements between distributor and vendor
- Coordinate in bound freight of promo and retail products
- Coordination of list/ de-list of products and supplies within our Distribution partner network and maintain up to date order guide systems
- Promotional Distribution – Work closely with Merchandising and Category Teams to distribute promotional goods nationally with frequent and tight timelines
- Participate in annual business review meetings as well as monthly update meetings with distribution partners
Education & Certification
- Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs
Experience
- 2-3 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs within a retail or foodservice environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Extremely organized with the ability to be decisive
- Experienced with and possess the ability to negotiate rates with distributors and logistics providers
- Proficiency in in Excel
