We are currently seeking a General Accountant to join our Team in a full-time, temporary capacity lasting until January 2026. Looking for 32 hours a week (8 hours a day, 4 days a week) working within our finance department.

You will become a key member of our Finance Department and will be responsible for full cycle accounting that includes bank, credit card and GL account reconciliations, accounts payable and vendor reconciliations, month end preparation and other duties as required.

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills. You have exceptional accounting skills and understand the importance of getting the job done, but you also know how to have fun. You appreciate the value of being part of a dynamic, motivated team that works together to provide our internal customers with fantastic support.

In addition you possess:

· Diploma in accounting / business

· 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience required

· Excel knowledge & experience at an advanced level

· Experience with inventory / retail environment considered an asset

· Experience with QuickBooks and/or Lightspeed or Corebridge would be an asset

· Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively as part of a team

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Supporter of Continuous Improvement

· Solid written and verbal communication skills.

· Enjoys working within a team

· A positive attitude and to help where is needed.
