We are a specialty service, truck carrier located in Delta, B.C. who provides general cargo, refrigerated and bulk commodity transportation throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and Washington State. We also provide an increasing selection of Warehouse and Distribution services in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

Nature of Position: Daily work schedules to be determined

Wage: $24.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

The Warehouse & Logistics Technician will be responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless tracking and inventory of all freight for multiple customers, while providing logistics support to the Aquatrans team. The Warehouse & Logistics Technician will load and unload freight regularly using a forklift, or hand jack. Other responsibilities include inspection of all freight, consolidation, data entry, daily warehouse upkeep, and regular team communication.

This worker must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations. Inventory management, order picking, and relations with applicable office staff are essential functions for this position. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

You will:

  • Work safely and efficiently every day, while maintaining a tidy workplace
  • Follow company procedures to execute daily tasks, and a structured workday.
  • Operate a forklift safely.
  • Physically load and offload all freight, ensuring accuracy of all deliveries.
  • Consolidate materials for shipment and pack appropriately for destination.
  • Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders, enter and track in WMS.
  • Ensure all incoming freight for warehousing is tagged and inventoried in WMS.
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of all warehouse inventory indoor/outdoor.
  • Report any discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and contribute to our safety culture
  • Ensure shipments contain proper documentation.
  • Follow troubleshooting procedure for any cases of missing documents, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Participate in the Health and Safety program
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Quick and precise keyboarding skills for data entry
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment, and shipping and receiving.
  • Experience loading and unloading enclosed trailers, flat decks, and containers.
  • Physically fit and safely perform repetitive heavy lifting of 50lbs, able to stand for extended periods of time, indoor and outdoor
  • Able to work outside regular warehouse hours if required
  • Valid forklift certificate and demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely
  • Valid and clean BC driver’s license
  • High School diploma

Note: A background check is required for this position. The person in this position will be Air Cargo Certified by Aquatrans.

Shift schedule to be determined based on role. Full time and part time shifts available.
Full time - 40 hours per week.
Part time - 20 hours per week.
