We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive repair services. You will utilize your strong customer service skills and mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs, provide estimates, and ensure a smooth service experience.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
• Document customer concerns and relay information accurately to the service department.
• Provide detailed estimates for repairs and services based on customer requests and mechanical assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge or background in automotive repair is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction are essential.
