Kent is looking for a System Completions Database Admin with Hexagon Smart Completions experience to support the team on SJLNG Project, remote work with site visits to support project requirements.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining project's information within Hexagon Smart Completions (HSC) Software ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance by overseeing entry, reporting, and system administration functions.
  • Collaborating with project team to streamline information flow and facilitate decision-making across the project lifecycle.
  • Entering, updating, and verifying project records within the HSC, including project schedules, budgets, documents, deliverables, risks, and change orders.
  • Maintaining system integrity by performing regular quality checks and resolving inconsistencies.
  • Implementing governance practices to ensure consistent entry and reporting standards.
  • Generating project reports based on HSC data, including progress reports, status updates, budget forecasts, and key performance indicators.
  • Customizing reports and dashboards to meet specific project needs and stakeholder requirements.
  • Analyzing project records to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Managing user access and permissions within the HSC system.
  • Configuring and maintaining system settings, workflows, and data fields to align with project requirements.
  • Troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with IT support for complex problems.
  • Providing training to project team members on how to effectively use the HSC system and its functionalities.
  • Answering user queries and providing ongoing support regarding entry, reporting, and system navigation.
  • Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary data and ensure accurate information is captured within the HSC.
  • Facilitating communication between project teams and key decision-makers by disseminating relevant project information through reports and dashboards.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

  • Strong proficiency in project information management and analysis techniques.
  • Minimum 7 years experience with project management software.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

Communication:

  • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

Behavior/ Core Competencies:

  • Proven strong technical skills in discipline subject matter.
