We are looking for a motivated and intellectually curious candidate with an interest in automation and control equipment in an industrial environment. The candidate must demonstrate initiative and autonomy. We are seeking a recognized team player with the ambition to learn and grow. The candidate will be involved in various stages of a project, ranging from document production to equipment commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Support engineers in the creation of engineering documentation (electrical drawings, input/output lists, etc.).
- Participate in the programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
- Assist in the implementation of performance indicators within our historian software.
- Support engineers and work with electricians during electrical installation work.
- Take part in the integration of sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives, etc.
- Document testing and configuration procedures during commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industrial regulations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot automated system failures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automated systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's student in Electrical Engineering or Automated Production Engineering – T2-T3.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation PLC platforms (ControlLogix and SLC500) is an asset.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation HMI suite (FactoryTalk View) is an asset.
- Knowledge of the PI Vision historian suite by OSIsoft is an asset.
- Knowledge of EPlan software is an asset.
- May be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination.
