About the role

Château Sainte-Marie, a friendly seniors' residence located in the heart of Beauce, offers stable work hours, a healthy environment, and friendly managers :) We are currently looking for a part-time evening beneficiary attendant position. ** Completed AP/RPA training or completed DEP (vocational diploma) in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home or completed 5,000 hours of RAC**

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
  • Proactively assist and support the residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
  • PDSP Training
  • Law 90 (jurisdiction 6)
