DXP|HSE Integrated is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable / Collections Administrator for our office in Edmonton. The role pertains to performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and collections of accounts receivable.
Responsibilities
- Manage collection efforts and calls for overdue receivables
- Respond to and resolve account inquiries
- Update and maintain overdue accounts receivable reports
- Perform general office duties in support of the accounting and other departments, when necessary, working as a team or individually
- Process credit card payments
- Generate and send out invoices
- Process post customer payments and prepare bank deposits
- Assisting in general financial management and analysis
Skill and Knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, negotiation and follow up skills
- Ability to multitask
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting
- Strong interpersonal relationship
- Excellent communication skills
- 2 + year experience in accounting
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulation
