Job Description
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who embodies the role of a proactive healthcare provider and an adept user of digital communication tools. This part-time, virtual position focuses on serving patients across Manitoba and potentially other provinces through telehealth consultations. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients, initiating and managing treatments, prescribing medications in line with scope and regulations, and maintaining detailed records in electronic medical records (EMR). Working closely with pharmacists and other members of the healthcare team is essential to providing high-quality virtual care.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Strong digital, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience in telemedicine or virtual care delivery
- A strong focus on patient care, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage virtual patient workflows efficiently
Key Requirements
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Authorized to prescribe medications in Manitoba
- Familiarity with Manitoba health regulations and virtual care standards
