About the role
Pharmacy Technician starting 32 $/hour or more according to experience.
Full-Time (25 -40 hrs. /week according to availability)
Position is available.
· Monday -Friday shifts between 9am and 6 pm.· Store closed on Sundays and statuary holidays
Location: 386 Daniel Street South, Arnprior, Ontario K7S 3G9
REQUIREMENTS
· Applicant must have a valid OCP license as a registered pharmacy technician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmacy and minimum 2 years full time working experience as regulated pharmacy technician with a good standing record and good references.
· Applicant must be fluent in Kroll software and able to handle workload and able to practice pharmacy technician full responsibility according to OCP guidelines with accuracy.
· The applicant has a team leader’s responsibility to help add value to our fast-growing team to help serve the community with our responsible staff and healthy, respectful work environment.
· Able to administer flu vaccine according to OCP guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and detailed orientation with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong customer service experience.
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills and Strong organizational skills
· Problem Solving Skills and attention to detail is a must.
- Proven pharmacy experience, reliability, and team player.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff.
- A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping.
- Demonstrated experience working in fast paced environment.

What you'll do
- Help Inputting and billing prescriptions using the Kroll computer system is essential. Must be proficient with Kroll software and fully understand third party billing policies (hired as pharmacy Technician pack up Role #8 )

- Checking prescription’s refills and blister pack according to OCP guidelines and able to fulfill full scope pharmacy technician duties under OCP guidelines.
- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling handling and dispensing their prescriptions.
· Accurate dispensing prescription medications Filling, compounding, and verifying prescriptions accurately/efficiently by OCP.
· Managing pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription drop off and pick up.
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy.
